Rechtliche Hinweise

§ Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
You can find our e-mail address in the imprint above.

We are not willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

§ Liability for Content

As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages according to § 7 para.1 TMG and general laws. According to §§ 8 to 10 TMG, however, we as a service provider are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored external information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general laws remain unaffected. However, liability in this regard is only possible from the point in time at which we become aware of a specific legal violation. If we become aware of any such legal violations, we will remove this content immediately.

§ Liability for Links

Our offer contains links to external websites of third parties, on whose contents we have no influence. Therefore, we cannot assume any liability for these external contents. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. Illegal contents were not recognizable at the time of linking. However, a permanent control of the contents of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a legal violation. If we become aware of legal violations, we will remove such links immediately.

§ Copyright

The content and works created by the site operators on these pages are subject to German copyright law. The duplication, processing, distribution, and any kind of exploitation outside the limits of copyright law require the written consent of the respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this site are only permitted for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the contents on this site were not created by the operator, the copyrights of third parties are respected. In particular, contents of third parties are marked as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, please inform us accordingly. If we become aware of legal violations, we will remove such contents immediately.

§ Privacy

WG-Watch is ad-free. No audience measurement takes place without your consent. We store only the data needed to run the site. In detail:

Wargaming login
When you sign in with your Wargaming account we store your account ID, player name, region, the access token issued by Wargaming, and the time of your last login. This data is required to recognise you and to fetch your statistics.
IP address
When you log in we store the IP address you last used. It serves exactly one purpose: if our automatic overload protection catches a legitimate user by mistake, the block can be lifted for that specific address. Only the most recent value is kept — every new login overwrites the previous one. The address is deleted automatically 90 days after your last login. It is never analysed for statistics, profiling or advertising.
Email address (optional)
Providing an email address is optional and is not required for any feature of the site — including the free VIP status. If you do provide one, we use it only for the newsletter or info mails about your statistics that you asked for, and only after you have confirmed the address via a confirmation link. Alongside the address we store the language you entered it in, plus a random unsubscribe key — it is what makes the unsubscribe link in every mail work without signing in. For each weekly mail sent we keep the time and delivery result for 400 days, to detect duplicate sends and delivery problems; no content is stored. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any mail or in your dashboard, and delete the address there completely.
Contact form
If you send us a message through the contact form, we store your name, the selected category, the message text and — if you provide one — your email address. The address is optional and only needed if you would like a reply. We use this data solely to handle your enquiry and do not pass it on. The message is deleted automatically 365 days after it arrives; on request we will remove it sooner at any time. To guard against automated abuse, the form checks your submission with Cloudflare Turnstile — your browser connects to challenges.cloudflare.com and transmits technical data such as your IP address to Cloudflare.
Favourites and settings
Players and clans you pin are stored against your account. Display settings such as dark mode live purely in your browser and never reach our server.
Personal goal and history
If you set a goal in your dashboard, we store the chosen metric, the target value, your level when you created it, and the date. Separately, we keep a daily history of the battle figures Wargaming provides for publicly visible player profiles — the same values shown on the profile page. Both can be deleted on request at any time.
Traffic measurement
Only after you consent to optional audience measurement, the requested path, referrer and load-time values are sent to our own servers (3ernert.net and analytics.3ernert.com). Matomo runs without cookies and with an anonymized IP address; the 3ernert tracker stores no identifier in your browser. The data is used solely to improve the service and is not sold to advertising networks.

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data at any time. An informal message via the contact form is enough to have your account deleted completely.
