  • rDAMAGE: damage dealt (by far the most important factor)
  • rFRAG: tanks destroyed (kills)
  • rSPOT: enemies spotted (first detection)
  • rDEF: defence points for your own base (decapping)
  • rWIN: your personal win rate
Important for light tank players: Assisted damage (through tracking or spotting) does not feed into the classic WN8 calculation, because the Wargaming API historically could not separate this data cleanly for each individual battle.

Why is a WN8 of 2,500 harder to reach in a tier X medium than in a tier VI scout? This is where the XVM expected values come in.

For every single tank in the game there is a fixed table of expected values (for example 1,200 damage and 1.1 kills per battle).

Hit exactly those values and your WN8 lands at precisely 1,565 (yellow / average).
